Problem: Having Links Appear on Recent Blog Posts

I know how to put a link in a post and have it work on the actual full page, but on my page where my blog posts appear in snippets (I think that is the right word). My links are unable to be clicked. I would like the user to be able to click the link to go to the article I am talking about. Rather than having to click the “Read More” button to get to the link that goes to another website. If anything is unclear let me know. Thank you 🙂
