Having a static Homepage

Alright, so I’m making a regular website and I’m using the Theme “Dodo 1.2.1” and it has a top nav. I changed the first page which by default is the blog page to “Home” but I don’t need a blog page for my site. So I added a new page and called it Home so that I could use that as the static Home page, but now I have two Home links showing up in my nav. So my question is how do I get rid of the default “Home” that WordPress uses and just use the one I created?
