• I went in circles trying to connect – the wpvibe.ai website seems like it itself was vibe coded – there is no ‘account’ link once you sign in. the menu still says ‘sign in’. very primitive! eventually I got everything connected

I tried some simple tasks and got errors like this:

Could not reach wpvibe.ai. Request failed (429): {"type":"error","error":{"type":"rate_limit_error","message":"{\"type\":\"exceeded_limit\",\"resetsAt\":1783137600,\"remaining\":null,\"perModelLimit\":false,\"representativeClaim\":\"five_hour\",\"ov

it claims “Essentially, if it can be done via the WordPress REST API, WP-CLI, or your theme files, I can do it — often faster and more precisely than navigating menus manually.” but like many AI tools it’s not really ready for general use. you have to invest alot of time and once you train it and if you have enough of certain kinds of tasks then it can be helpful.

  • Thanks for the detailed review, and you caught something real. The site header still said “Sign in” even after you had an account, because the marketing site doesn’t share a session with the app. The link itself went to your account, but the label was wrong. It says “Account” now. Genuinely useful catch, thank you.

One thing worth knowing about the 429 error you hit: that one is Claude’s own usage limit, not WPVibe. The “five_hour” in the message is your Anthropic plan’s five-hour usage window, and it clears on its own within a few hours of when you hit it. Claude words it as “could not reach wpvibe.ai,” which points at the wrong party. WPVibe’s own limits look different and say so plainly when you reach them.

On the learning curve, that’s fair. The shortcut we’re building for exactly this is the cookbook at https:// wpvibe.ai/cookbook – proven recipes you hand to your AI as-is, no training it yourself. If there’s a task you wanted that didn’t go well, email me at support@wpvibe.ai and I’ll either point you at the right recipe or build it.

Thanks for sticking with it long enough to get connected.
