Hanging on 'unpacking archive…'

I am having the same issue as reported elsewhere – the import works fine, but then the screen hangs on the ‘unpacking archive’ notice. Arrows keep rotating, but the stop import button is now unresponsive (won’t go red on hover and you can’t click it)

I tried using the temporary fix from the dropbox link provided in the other post, but with no success – it gives the same result.

I am trying to upload to a site hosted on heart internet

Any clues? I have the unlimited version and I’m stuck on a job right now because of this…
