How many items are supposed to be in each menu? You have a lot of submenu items; have you double checked that the organization of them in the menu section is correct?
Yes, I have double checked. The submenu items are too many for the second tab but they are correct. Thats how it is supposed to be.
But there are 2 more categories which have completed just gone off…

I even tried to go back on the updates I did of WordPress and plugins but I couldnt see how that can be done

I just tried manually creating the lost parts of the menu and after adding a couple, when I saved the menu, all then new items were again lost.
I guess it’s some snag with the theme?
Can anyone please confirm if there’s a limitation of some kind on the Hemingway theme or WordPress 4.4.1?
Try:
– switching to the Twenty fifteen theme from admin area.
and check all menu working fine or not ?

I tried moving it to twenty fifteen. I added some of the missing menu items and saved it. Yet again, the added items went missing and the incomplete menu appears.

you set the follow line in “.htaccess” on the server where your site is on:
php_value max_input_vars 5000

I saw that post and I contacted Bluehost to set the limit to 5000. They have already done it but it still didn’t help
