H1 author name problem

    Some created author pages, even if I format the author’s name as an H1 or simply bold it in the Biographical Info field, it doesn’t override the page’s automatic H1. When I create a new user and do this, the H1 works correctly. However, some profiles created with publipress that already have this problem display “news” (Noticias) instead of the author’s name. Since the site is in production, I will need to hide this H1 (<code data-path-to-node=”0″ data-index-in-node=”416″>display: none;) until you can guide me on how to resolve this situation.

    Could you let me know which version of PublishPress Authors you’re using on your site? It would also be helpful if you could share a link to an Author page where you’re experiencing this issue. That will help me better understand the problem and determine the best solution.

    In addition, could you provide a screenshot showing:
    – How you’ve configured the H1 heading. Is it here: https://prnt.sc/KwURsldg_588?
    – The issue where “News” (Noticias) is displayed instead of the author’s name.

    Additionally, what is the theme that you apply to your site?
    This information will help us investigate the issue more efficiently.

    I´m using Version 4.15.0.
    I find out. When the author has no articles, H1 shows “Noticias”.

    Hi @thestryder ,

    Thank you for providing the samples.

    Could you try enabling the Author Pages feature in the PublishPress Authors settings? This uses PublishPress’s own dedicated author page instead of your theme’s or Elementor’s archive template, which should bypass the Elementor issue entirely.

    Please note that enabling this option will affect more than just the author’s name; it will also change the overall layout of the author page. Because of that, I recommend testing it on your staging site first before applying it to your live site.
