Hi! Awesome plugin, but can anybody clarify me this lines from the FAQ: «If I disable the plugin what happens to the galleries?
Obviously, your galleries will not show. If you are using Gutenberg you don’t have to worry about anything.»
What does this mean? I’m using this plugin only for the local images and when I’m deactivating the plugin, all blocks with galleries in the gutenberg-posts just show “you haven’t plugin for this block”-like message and posts, obviously, not show this galleries. There is no possibility to migrate into the native galleries?

What this means is that when you look at your page on the front-end (not in the editor), you will not see blank shortcodes, or blank error messages. E.g. you will not see the message saying that you don’t have a plugin for this block. So, while you can go back and fix your posts when you get the time, you don’t have to be worried about your site’s visitors.

No, you cannot migrate to native galleries. Basically there are different types of Photonic blocks – WordPress, Flickr, Google Photos, SmugMug, Zenfolio and Instagram. Apart from the Photonic’s WP galleries you cannot make the others work with native galleries.

I can consider this a feature request, but it is low on my priority.

    Thanks for the clarification!
Well, while this plugin works at the current WP I will be using it anyway. Just trying to minimize possible future damage 🙂
