Guests can’t vote for a comment

Hello,

My guests (I’ve asked to some of them) can’t vote for comments.
There is the error message concerning the IP but I ask people from different locations and they all have the same issue.

However, the button “Allow Guests to Vote for Comments” is turned on.

Can you help please ?

Hi @escartinico,
For some reason your server doesn’t detect gust IP addresses. So all guests are tracked as the same guest.

Also, this could be due to missing wpDiscuz tables. Please use your hosting cPanel > phpMyAdmin database manager and make sure these tables exist:
- wp_wc_comments_subscription
- wp_wc_feedback_forms
- wp_wc_follow_users
- wp_wc_online_users
- wp_wc_phrases
- wp_wc_users_rated
- wp_wc_users_voted

Thanks for this answer.

I’ve checked my database, and unfortunately theses tables exist (with my own table prefix).

Is it possible that a plugin or my host server are anonymizing the guest IPs ?

My plugins are the following :

Hi @escartinico,

please one by one deactivate the following plugins and check again:
1. Antispam Bee
2. Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent
3. WP ULike
Please don’t forget to delete all caches and press CTRL+F5 (twice) on the frontend each time before checking.

I’d also suggest to temporarily disable the Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugin.

Hi,

It seems it was Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent.

How can I manage my Cookie consent and be GDPR compliant without having trouble with WP Discuz ?
