I am trying to restore a database backup to resolve a disappearing home page issue. When I go to the UpdraftPlus page on my WP site there is a message saying “UpdraftPlus notice: Follow this link to authorize access to your Dropbox account (you will not be able to back up to Dropbox without it).”
When I follow the link I end up on the updraft plus dropbox authorisation page with the message:
“An error (invalid_grant) occurred in trying to connect with Dropbox.
Error details: code has already been used”
I have no idea what to do as I have no control over what code is being used and yet I can’t access my backups without it, at least not without trying to restore everything manually. All the backup files are still on my PC in my dropbox folder so I guess that is ultimately an option.
I then have a button to press:
“Press the button below to return to your UpdraftPlus settings on the site http://iloveunsub.com.
The button will take you to: http://iloveunsub.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus&error=invalid_grant&error_description=code+has+already+been+used
    Return to UpdraftPlus”
When I pressed that I get either the same message as before or:
An error (invalid_grant) occurred in trying to connect with Dropbox.
Error details: code has expired (within the last hour)”

    Recommendations?

This happens if the Dropbox authentication page is loaded twice. Dropbox sends back that error after the first time. So, if you’re not pressing ‘Reload’ in your web browser, then something else is effectively doing it. Try a different browser and see if that makes a difference.
