Ravi, was great in helping me trace some warnings that kept filling up my logs and making it difficult and time consuming for me to find legitimate errors and deprecation issues. He explained the reasons why the debug notices were there in the first place. I explained when I temporarily enable wp-debug to periodically check my logs they kept filling up the logs with too much noise, he commented: “Your point is fair. A routine condition should not be writing to the log at all and it should not be crowding out the errors you turned debug on to find” There is now a bug report to address this issue.
