    Works as advertised, so thanks! Just a question: after creating the child theme and then updating the main theme (Divi by Elegant Themes), my menu was a bit messed up. It was easy enough to correct, but am I right to assume that changes to the menu are not stored in the child theme?

    it happened to me and i resetted the menu. it was our fault as we should have created a child theme just from the start before making changes to it. but think we did not have it even now, and we upgrade the main theme… what a disaster would have been…
