• Very easy to use, I created a french translation file via Poedit and that worked without nasty surprises as well. 🙂
But on my multilingual site, when I activate the More info links, and then click on one, it takes a long time and then I get:
    ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
Any suggestions how to solve this?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your review.

Are you willing te complete the French translation at wordpress.org as well? (check link)

I have no idea how the link issue is caused. It’s just a link to another page or website. Do you have a link of your site or the name of the plugin you’re using?

I actually just translated parts on for the frontend, not the backend. My written French is quite basic, therefore, it would be best to ask a native speaker.
The links to more info don’t work either, that is why I mentioned it. Therefore, I removed the widget and disabled the short info mode.
The link to the events is http://www.raboo.info/fr/category/expositions-entretiens/
    or the English version:
    http://www.raboo.info/category/interviews/

    Thanks,

    Hi Rudolf,

Actually, VSEL is fully translated into French, today. If you have French (France, not Belgium) language installed in your dashboard (via Settings > General) you will get an update notification in your dashboard (today or tomorrow). If that’s the case please remove your own translation files.

But, I cannot imagine the read more issue has anything to do with this. Are you able to add a read more at one of your events?

Yes, I can add a read more but I get the above mentioned error if someone clicks on the link, that is why I removed the option.
It’s not a big deal, it works fine for me the way I have set it up.
Perhaps there is a conflict with the polylang plugin.

I had it installed on a Dutch site as well. There, I have no problems.
In any case, thanks for your concern.
    Rudolf
