Great plug-in, great service!

I was looking for a newsletter management plug-in that could send automatic notifications of new content to my subscribers, and which would allow us to be sure of keeping all data relating to subscribers etc. on our own servers, in order to comply with German data protection and privacy laws. Wysija fits the bill (almost) perfectly.

It’s very straightforward to set up, easy to make great-looking emails in its visual designer, and the management options and statistics provided are exactly what you need.

The only aspect of Wysija that was not perfect for our needs out of the box was that the software did not allow an opt-in checkbox (for the subscriber to confirm both that he wants to join the list, and has read the privacy policy) to be added to the subscription form widget, which is a requirement of German data protection and privacy laws. I emailed Wysija support, and I received a reply very quickly from Ben at Wysija with a simple plug-in extension that showed me how to achieve the needed end result. Outstanding service!

I also evaluated WPNewsman, and found Wysija to be simpler and more streamlined, and more ideally suited to our purposes. Great job! Highly recommended.
