Great Full Image Theme
-
I used this theme for about two months before I am obliged to switch to another. The theme has a great potential in providing more fluid experience to front end viewers of a blog.
I recommend the author to select a font that is more readable (since the texts are too thin) and a bit more larger (for post content). I managed to fix this (and the colors of some divs) by Custom CSS and Google Fonts.
Next thing is that the front page slideshow had hiccups loading in some browsers especially Firefox (full empty black space instead of the slider). The only way to avoid it is to inline the CSS which is not a good idea – making the blog performance lower.
There are some styles that did not pass W3C validation. Kindly look at the social icons since there is a code error. I forgot what it is exactly but it is about one of the icons that makes the blog to load without any style at first visit. Also I suggest you add native support for microformats as the blog articles are missing SEO required entries.
