    Hello friends

I have installed the plugin https://ca.wordpress.org/plugins/gtranslate/ and it does not detect it. What should I do to add it…??

And on the other hand, the text of the cookie policy is in Catalan but there are some words that should be translated correctly. Is there a section where you can edit the text…?

    Thank you

    Hi @oninmedia,

What do you mean by adding the GTranslate plugin in the context of Complianz? Does the plugin set any cookies which are not detected by Complianz, for example?

The plugin has indeed not been fully translated to Catalan yet (https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/complianz-gdpr/stable/ca/default/), you can translate the remaining texts to Catalan with a plugin such as Loco Translate.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Good morning Jarno

What I mean is that the plugin sets cookies that Complianz does not detect. Unidentified cookies appear to me, some of which may refer to the installed GTranslate plugin. Can you tell me which cookie this plugin uses to add it “manually” as a service…? Or what should be done..?
Thank you, I hope I have been understood better now.

    Hello @oninmedia,

If the cookies from the GTranslate plugin are detected by Complianz but appear as “pending investigation” on the Cookie Policy, it means that there is no description/information about these cookies available on CookieDatabase.org yet.

If you know the details about those specific cookies, you can fill this in manually under Complianz -> Wizard -> Consent -> Cookiedatabase. Expand the service/cookie that it concerns, untick the “Sync cookie with CookieDatabase” checkbox, so you can manually enter the information.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Thanks Jarnovo
No, I don’t know the plugin’s cockies. So it would be better to wait until they can be detected and in future updates they can be added. Correct..?

Finally, to finish the Google map, if cookies are not accepted, it appears very high. I know that some time ago you sent me a code to avoid so much height. You can send it to me again. Thanks for all, greetings

    Hi @oninmedia,

These cookies were already detected during the Cookie Scan, right? They likely just don’t have a description yet, because the information about these cookies is not yet available on CookieDatabase; so they appear as “pending investigation” on your Cookie Policy.

What do you want to change about the Google Maps placeholder? It seems that the height is already set to 400px with CSS, not sure what else you would like to change?

    Kind regards, Jarno

There are exactly cookies that still do not have a description and I think these will be them. So I’ll wait for the Complianz update. And on the map I have already been able to solve it. So I end this management. Thanks for everything Jarno. All the best
