google share counter not counting

Recently installed – Absolutely love the simple look of this plugin.
Issue: the google+ counter doesn’t seem to be working after install however. On all pages prior to install the counter shows correctly, but with posts created after the install, the counter is stuck at zero while other social media counts work fine. Cleared caching plugin, liked from different google+ profiles and pages, no luck…
Here’s an example: any advice would be appreciated.
