• I have downloaded the SEO Ultimate. I have changed the Meta Description but when I do a google search for my site the description deos not come up, instead Google uses random bits of text for the description.

    Any ideas on whats wrong?

probably google has not updated the results for youe site. In that case give google little bit time.

I have discovered that the SEO Ultimate that I installed as a plug in is using the original Twenty Ten home page still as the home page.

I made a new static page as my home page, and made the original home page as a blog page.

The SEO Ultimate still thinks that the original Home page (now the blog page) is still the home page. In other words, the Meta Description Editor > Blog Homepage, comes up on my blog page, and not the new static page i made as my home page. Therefore when googling my site the Meta Description for the Home page comes up on the blog page. (I hope that makes sense lol).

I changed the Meta Description for all the pages in the Meta Description Editor > Pages, but none of the descriptions have changed on Google, and I updated this info a couple of weeks ago. Plus I think that if Google has changed the blog page meta description shouldnt it have crawled all of my site and updated all my meta info? Is this correct?

Also, when I go into my page views in Admin and view the SEO Ultimate Title Tag and Meta Descriptions, the information I have put in these boxes does not correspnd to what appears when I search for Google.

Would I be better off installing a different SEO plugin?

    Maybe…
