    Hello,

I am having issues with the Google Product Review Feed that I submitted to Google with regard to the variants.

In fact, everytime somebody publishes a Review on a product page of my website which has a variant product, the result on the Feed created with your Plugin is that:

    – if my product has 3 variants, on the Feed I will have 3 reviews which are the same

    – In the <product_ids> section, under GTIN and SKU, instead of showing the GTIN and SKU relative to the single variant product, it shows me all the GTIN/SKU related to all the variants

The result is that Google does not accept these reviews as it has an “invalid or missing product id”.

For example, if you see the Feed through this link (https://aloevonderweid.com/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/JKb9KwdE46Ma6UTt3I6O3hjoOR0xeNPl.xml) and search for the <review_id> 9506, which is relative to a product with 4 variants, you will see that the same review has been published for the 4 variants, and in the GTIN and SKU fields you will find all the GTIN an SKU (<gtin>8051490700323 8051490700538 8051490700576 8051490701108</gtin>).

How can I create a Feed in which to every variant it is assigned its specific GTIN/SKU and review?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

How did you save the GTIN and SKU to your product variation edit pages? When each variation has its unique GTIN saved than our plugin will fetch only the GTIN belonging to that variation.

    Hello,

    thank you for your reply.

The GTIN and SKU have been saved on my products as an attribute. I have not found a different way to add them.

I have created a variable product on Woocommerce, with 4 variants according to its size. Then, I created an attribute (GTIN) and I have added the 4 GTIN, but I can’t find a way to assign the GTIN to a specific variant.

I could only do it if the product is not a variable product, but a single product.

    Waiting for your kind reply.

    Hi Emanuele,

Yes that is unfortunately how WooCommerce works. Only the paid version of our plugin has a solution for that. Unfortunately, per the WordPress forum guidelines, we’re not allowed to discuss our paid Elite plugin here so for any questions about our paid plugins, please contact our support team directly.
