google plugin update won't install

    I tried to automatically update the google-sitemap-generator to the new version 3.2.4. When it tried to update, it removed the old version but could not copy a file it needed and failed to install.

    As a result, the old google-site-generator plug in is gone from my list of plugins. I searched online for the new version 3.2.4 and found it. When I tried to install it, it failed to install and gave me an error message:

    “Destination folder already exists. /public_htlm/blog/wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator”

    I don’t know enough to get the new version 3.2.4 to install. Please help.
