I am using the latest release of Events Manager (5.6.6.1). I followed the instructions on obtaining an API key and entered it in the events/setting/formatting/maps/api field. The maps show up correctly when I create a location on the back-end. But, when I try to “preview” the same location or try to access it on the front-end, the map loads briefly, and then is replaced by a gray screen with an exclamation point (on Firefox).

The console shows the following 3 errors:
missing-key-map-error (as soon as the map turns gray)
    no-api-keys (shortly after)
    invalid-key (shortly after)

I enabled all the APIs suggested in the Events Manager documentation and tried various combinations of referrer website URLs.

Nothing seems to help event though both the back-end and front-end use the exact same domain.

Thanks for the reply. I followed that article step by step. The result is a as mentioned above.

When editing a location, the map shows up correctly to the admin. The same location, when previewed by admin, fails to display. It also fails to display on front end. I tried leaving the referrer blank, but that did not help.

Anything else to try? As mentioned, the backend edit mode of locations displays the maps correctly, but the preview mode gives errors. The front-end gives errors too.

    Appreciate any input on this.

    Thanks
