Google Feeds Not Updating & Timezone Issues

I recently upgraded the all-in-one event calendar from version 1.10 to 1.10.9. I now have some broken capabilities. The following google calendar feed is no longer updating:
I don’t mind having to manually hit “refresh” button to pull all events from this calendar – except, when I force a “refresh” the timezones get messed up. The calendar feed above is in Central timezone, and my wordpress site is also in Central timezone, however the “refresh” pull seems to convert all events into GMT timezone and not in Central time.
The issue of “refresh” force pull and timezones was there in 1.10 as well – but when the scheduled import (hourly) would occur, then the timezones would correct themselves and all events would show the proper time.
Anyone have some advice or things to try? I would also be happy to insert in debug logic into code to help debug.
