Note sometimes the google ics file is slow to be updated even when update showing on your calendar. If it still looks like it is not updating, then try opening the .ics url in a text editor to check that it has the updates .

The plugin does not curently produce an availability chart like that and it is not possible to simply “show you” how to create one.
The only free/busy or availability at moment is like this (per day)
http://test.icalevents.com/large-box-calendar/a-free-busy-or-availability-alternative/
or simply using the freebusy output of a calendar application to show booked times.
