Hi there,

We are trying to use the Events-Manager plugin in conjunction with a specific theme we like.
However it looks like the theme also loads the Google Maps API/javascript so there seems to be a conflict which prevents us from displaying the Google Map associated with events.

I’ve looked into the code, but can’t find where the double Google API inclusion is done.

Hopefully someone can check out the sourcecode and find me which line produces the conflict.

you can check the api at events-manager/includes/js/events-manager.js

Hi Angelo,
Thanks for replying.
What do you mean exactly?
I see that the plugin loads the Maps API in the em_maps_load() function.
However if I turn it off, the page doesn’t load the API at all.
It just says ‘Map is loading’ and does nothing.

The usual places where themes load code for libraries are functions.php, header.php and sometimes footer.php. Have you tried looking in those files?
