Google Analytics Tracking Zero Visits

Hello!

I’ve just checked my Google Analytics results for yesterday and they’re showing as zero visits, pageviews etc. When I went on yesterday I checked the results for the day (not in real time) and it was showing visits fine.. actually it was showing more visits than normal.

When I check the results for today both in real time and audience overview it’s working fine.

I’ve seen a few posts in forums about a broken analytics tracking code, but I know it WAS working yesterday so it’s as if the views have been deleted?

Can anyone help explain this to me? Are they lost forever?
