You can get the html snippet from google and upload it by ftp to your root also, then you don’t need a plugin.
i installed it previously and it worked fine the same way.
But this time don’t know what happened.
I have tried making a new property in google analytics
and then getting the new QR code that i have to copy into the
analytics plugin.
