Google Analytics byYoast plugin

Yesterday I noticed that my widgets page was not working/not active. The Maing and Secondary Widget areas were completely missing and I couldn’t drag any of the widgets. Also some of the widgets were totally gone (e.g. text widget). So I deactivated all the plugins and activated them back one at a time. It turns out that the Google Analytics by Yoast plugin was the culprit that deactivated the widget page. Has anyone else experienced this? AND which google analytics plugin should I install to be able to benefit from analytics?
