    Hello

I’ve followed the steps provided here (https://complianz.io/how-to-configure-google-analytics-for-gdpr/) so I can still track my views on GA when someone visits my site. On step 3 I added the piece of code to my GA tracking code. Unfortunately when I check GA the views are only getting logged when I click ‘accept all cookies’ so I assume they’re still being blocked.

In the wizard I selected ‘yes’ for Complianz to configure my analytics and provided the code in this format UA-xxxxxxxx. I also tried turning this off to see if that would help but it didn’t.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @explorewithed,

I understand that you followed all the steps provided in our article. However I’d like to doublecheck if you checked all three boxes in the wizard, regarding anonymous statistics.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

    Hi Leon

I think I’ve managed to resolve the issue – the GA code I used in the plugin didn’t have an extra number (“-x”) at the end as my GA account tracks a few sites and this was needed to differentiate it from the others, a simple mistake!
I’ve just tested to see if I could see page views before accepting and it appeared to work.

Just to confirm I have checked all three boxes in the wizard. Thanks for your reply though!
