Good theme that show posts as "boxes"?

Hello!

I´m totally new to wordpress and trying to find a theme that fit my taste, which has taken far to much time already. Hopefully someone with more experience can give me some help.

I´m looking for a theme for a news blog, which show posts i make as “boxes” elevated a bit aboove the background. Preferable those boxes show a short summary of the post with an image, and takes the visitor to the full post if he clicks it.

The most suitable theme i have found so far, is the Convergence theme http://themeforest.net/item/convergence-community-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/34924 I dont know if im willing to pay for themes yet, and Convergence dont fit my taste totally either.

Anyone with some recommendations at hand?
