Godaddy wordpress loads of errors?

    I literally just got the economy hosting using a coupon, I already regret it, nearly every page on the wordpress has 500 Internal Error.

    Then it’s domain.com/wordpress/wp-admin
    etc rather than just domain.com/wp-admin

    same with posts it gives me onle domain.com/wordpress/sample-post type things.

    No idea how to get rid of the wordpress, activating half the plugins failed due to internal server error, their FTP is horrible so going through it is slow.

    I just tried to load a theme I had to do it through FTP because of 500 Internal Server error.

    I can’t seem to get the options to work right, please help

    I just realized my site is only online for domain.com/wordpress…

    what have I done…

    domain.com just says under construction

    Looks like you’ve installed WordPress on a subfolder inside your domain. You may want to go uninstall WordPress through your GoDaddy hosting cpanel and then try to reinstall it.

    When it asks you where you want to install it – just choose your domain name and do not add a folder name. This should place the WordPress database directly onto your .com.

    If you’re struggling with this GoDaddy has pretty good phone support.

    Kori is correct in this case. GoDaddy allows for people to purchase a domain name then hosting service in which the user can just simply click on the WordPress App Install button and WordPress will be automatically installed for that domain without the need for you to create a subdirectory.
