    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, there’s an Extension at http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-off-new-tables/ that will turn off the default setting for this checkbox.
    (With that, you should probably delete the 500 tables again, then install the Extension and then re-import the tables.)

    (Another way would be to globally turn the function off for all tables, with a small filter hook plugin, regardless of the value of the checkbox. That would however prevent you from every using the DataTables script on any table, so I would not recommend doing that.)

    Hi,

    no, I’ve already had it for some weeks, but it’s such a special case that it’s not that useful to the majority of people and therefore is not in the list.
