Give integration

    Hello,

    I requested a few months ago an integration for Give WP and am so thankful to see it has been implemented.

    My only request to improve the integration would be to allow me to assign the donors to a interest group. I’m currently using the official Give Mailchimp addon which allows me to do so, since it’s the only way for me to be able to segment donors from non donor subscribers.

    Hi Matt,

    That’s definitely on our list of things to add. We’re taking our time to get the user interface right for it, but we hope to have it ready soon enough.

    Until then, please know that you can set the interest group programmatically using the following code snippet: https://github.com/ibericode/mc4wp-snippets/blob/master/integrations/woocommerce/add-to-grouping.php

    The only difference is that “woocommerce” should be replaced with “give” and “interest-id” should be replaced with the ID of the interest you want to toggle. You can find an overview of interest group ID’s on the WP Admin > Mailchimp > Lists overview page.
