• Is there an open GitHub repo for this project?

I like it a lot but it prevents community collaboration with no open repo.

    Kudos 🙂

    Hi @pcfreak30,
Thanks for the kind words. It really means a lot. There is a GitHub repo for this plugin but unfortunately it is not open but private. I don’t think the repo is going to be public. Actually, sometimes I think that it is good that the repo is not public cause there are just so many complexities inside this plugin that if people start putting codes, things can get out of hand really quickly.

That being said, any contribution is highly welcome. If you have anything to contribute or add, you can let me know that here and if possible, I will add it to the code.

P.S.: I am not the owner of this plugin, I’m the co-creator and maintainer. So, I don’t have the authority to make the repo public.

That’s the tricky part. it’s just not practical to contribute to something over the forum or elsewhere. It would be a PR, or it would not really be open and would not happen.

So please do think on opening the project up to the community to support as you have a good idea here overall.

    Hi @pcfreak30,
The unfortunate thing is that hypothetically if the repo is open to public, more people will use the GitHub issue section for support queries rather than sending PR.

Trust me telling that from past experiences.

While I get that, I still think collaboration is more important than managing people blindly using the wrong communication channel. IMHO use a bot to auto-process issues.
