• Hi,

Since installing wordpress, whenever I check the stats in AWstats, I find a growing list of 302 temporary redirects and a few 404 errors as well (the 404 errors are for /comments/feed if that has anything to do with things). I’d like to find out why I am getting the 302 temporary redirects, as I have not set any up. The htaccess file was correctly generated and the permalinks work fine.

It is a new installation of WordPress that has been live for almost 2 months. I am developing the site locally on my computer using a WAMP server, so I have done nothing to the live site except for updating the permalinks to postname and I have posted one test post. And that’s all.

I would dearly like to solve the 302 problem before I transfer the local copy of the site to the live server at BlueHost. The BlueHost support people say it is nothing at their end, and that WordPress is doing this. They checked my files and couldn’t find the cause.

Can anyone help on this ? I’d sure appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    John
