Hi, I use Genesis Theme Framework. I would like to add some elements of Bootstrap to my sites. The biggest one is the navigation that Bootstrap offers. Genesis does not come with collapsable navigation for iPad (portrait) and mobile users.

I have installed your plug in. I have added some of the test code on your website. The buttons work, collapsable menu’s ect ect. Nothing happens to my primary navigation when I make the screen smaller.

The navigation is the main thing I want to use. Can you help?

    Seb

    Hi,

In order for the navigation bar/menu to work with Bootstrap you’ll need to ensure the menus have the correct HTML/CSS markup.

The guide to this is here:
    http://twitter.github.io/bootstrap/components.html#navbar

You’ll probably need to dig into Genesis in order to get that working… and my guess is your not the first to try it. Perhaps search on Genesis support or Google to see how other may have already done this.

It looks like you’ve got the plugin up and running so you’ve done all that can be done in terms of including the Bootstrap libraries, it’s now down to tweaking your theme.

    Good luck with it! 🙂
    Paul.
