Getting errors in the backend

  • Getting this error after I finished upgrading to “Carmen”. The site still loads properly but after applying fix for UTF reading errors I continue to get this error listed below.

    wp-includes/class-json.php on line 115

  • This is the entire error being posted at the bottom of pages in the backend.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class services_json in /info/wp-includes/class-json.php on line 115

Problems with your backend, eh? 🙂

If you’re feeling adventurous, you could try installing 2.9.1 rc1, there was a bug fixed in that which might solve your problem.

You should be able to grab it pretty quickly by following the instructions here (the current release is 2.9, despite what that says).

Thanks for the fix..two changes to class-json.php and all is well

They fixed this bug in v1.0.1:

Fixed Bug #16585 – Fix correct mime type for encode() – note use encodeUnsafe() to prevent headers being sent.

So yes, updating our wrapper to use encodeUnsafe() should do the trick.

    FIXED

    Please mark resolved.
