Getting error when uploading media

    I get the following error message when I try to upload pdf or images to Media Library, even for the ones that I was able to upload before:
    “documentname.pdf” has failed to upload due to an error
    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2014/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

    I’m using the same version of WordPress for my other website and have no issues uploading media there.

    Could anyone help please?

    So is it? 🙂 You can ask your webhost to help you figure that out, but you have to check the write permissions on wp-content/uploads/2014/

    Thanks so much for deciphering this for me! I contacted my webhost and they were able to fix this.
