    ok, so i just installed wordpress and i’ve followed all the steps and so far everything have been good. but when i try to run the wp-admin/install.php i get a 404 page… i’ve search on google but can’t find any answers…

    – my site is http://www.discusser.org. if it should help… what am i doing wrong?

    Check out permissions of all the files and folders you have. Folders should be 755, files 644. Make sure you have uploaded all the wordpress files to correct folder. If permissions are ok, just contact hosting support and they will check out the rest.

    actully, its not ok. its been hell for the past 2 days trying to install it. 5 minute installation my ass. i’ve finally been able to get the site up and running using Godaddy to install wordpress. but i still have problems to actully ‘install’ it. i stil lget the 404 page when trying to run the install.php…

    It’s already installed. If you visit the page yourself you’ll see the default twenty ten theme with the default starting post.

    What is this “actual installation” you’re talking about?

    Like I said – looks ok.

    GoDanica has it’s own way of doing things. Once it is figured out it works ok but in the interim we get lots of problems from folks using GoDaddy.
