Hello,
Please, since I made the upgrade to wordpress 4.5, i have an issue with your plug-in.

get_currentuserinfo is deprecated since version 4.5! Use wp_get_current_user() instead. in /srv/www/wordpress-develop/src/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3657

When i deactivate your plug-in, this warning message disappear.

Hey Mitishi,
I have same notice since updating BUT, I don’t use the plugin you mentioned so the problem isn’t just restricted to that particular plugin.

Exactly ! I had this issue with “mailpoet-newsletter” too.

I desactivated my plug-ins one by one to identify which ones that cause this message.

Remplaced get_currentuserinfo() by wp_get_current_user() into

/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-first-letter-avatar/wp-first-letter-avatar.php LINE 345

And it is fixed (I think)

Thank you. I haven’t looked into WP 4.5 yet, but as soon as I have some time, I will update it. Many plugins are using get_currentuserinfo(), so you may see a lot of warnings.

Fixed in the latest release. This is the only change in 2.2.6.1 version.
