Get rates error

    There has been a change to the API calls for getting rates – when trying to get rates it will fail if no origin phone address does not exists. This was working yesterday but stopped working today.

    In the frontend I just see “Unexpected server error. retry”

    So I turned on logging to I see what was goin on that is when I saw this error:

    [17-Mar-2023 15:38:37 UTC] wcc_server_error_response Error: The WooCommerce Shipping & Tax server returned: Bad Request Phone number must be provided in the “Origin address” tab. ( 400 ) (WC_REST_Connect_Shipping_Rates_Controller)

    After I entered my phone number, it works again. The front end needs to be updated to reflect what the actual error is.

    When contacting, please include system status report and the link to this forum.

    To further comment on the issue; an issue like this could be due to conflict with the current checkout page as well. To rule out such a possibility, it is best to except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Shipping and Tax plugins and see if the error code stays the same.
