You can insert blogroll widget to “footer”.
Or change default string on “Customize” page, see “Footer” tab
Anton thanks,
but i want to use custom links, not the blogroll, isnt there any other way ?
Hi, same problem. I DO NOT want the blogroll links in the footer widget. In the footer widget I want to put active links to two websites who are acknowledged as the site’s photographers. In the Inactive Widgets list Text option it says Arbitrary Text or HTML but there seems to be no way to actually make it html ! Anyone help?
P.S. I even tried creating the text in a text editor, making it active html, then pasting it into the text footer widget but it just comes out as plain text
Hey I did it!! Active custom links in the footer widget.
The link has to be actually typed as html.
For example, to add an active link to http://www.yoursitename.com, I had to format it as:
http://www.yoursitename.com
So if you type the site you want to link to into my formula in the text box of your footer widget and hit Save, then refresh your homepage and have a look, it should work.

You can also go into footer.php, then find the place that you want to put your link, then post the link using HTML
