Does anyone have any experience with Yoast and Geotargeting pro?

I have an about page that refers to an office location based on users information. So UK and Europe see our office in the UK and US and rest of world see our office in the US. This works great for actual content but google results are showing meta data from the US and is pulling that data from our about us page.

Currently, google is only pulling my meta description from the US so european users see my site description showing US information.

Is there any way of showing meta descriptions based on users location?

I am not familiar with the Geotargeting plugin but I can say that there can only be one meta description per page. So if you have one page that dynamically displays information based on location, it is very common that Google only shows information from a single location (usually US since their bots tend to default to that). There are ways to get around it but would likely require writing a custom solution for your specific setup.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help but I’ll leave this topic open a little while longer in case someone has any advice for you!
