Genesis Church Theme Broken

    Hi there.

    A few days ago we upgraded our https://www.elimchurchbishopauckland.co.uk to SSL and have had problems ever since. Most of them have been solved but there’s still an issue with broken CSS. I looked for the documentation for our theme but noticed support and downloads for this theme had been deleted.

    I was using WordPress 4.4.7 when this started. I upgraded to 4.7.2 just to see if this would fix it but no luck. It must have been pulled in the last few days and some external files that serve CSS for the theme have been pulled because this is what the site looks like now.Website screenshot

    My options are to find another theme, or try and fix the styles myself.

    My question is this… Do people know who know about the ins and outs of genesis themes know if this is a problem with genesis themes? Or have I simply accidentally removed some code and not noticed?

    I’m sorry but commercuial products are not supported in these forums. Please contact the vendor you purchased that theme from for support.

    Ha. The author’s site was pulled from TF. I’m still sorry but that theme isn’t for these forums. Please consider a free theme from the WordPress repo instead.

    Edit: It’s just that theme that was pulled. The author’s site is up and try this link for support. http://cr3ativ.com/

    Hi Jan,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I’m beginning to think there’s no more support out there for the theme so we’ll probably do as you suggest and look for another theme. I’m just keen to ascertain if it’s because of this support drop for the specific theme that the display is broken or if I did something behind the scenes that messed it up. I simply don’t know.

    Edit to add: I’ve been to Cr3tiv and Theme Forest to try to contact too with no luck 🙂
