Generic failure messages

I’m testing your Authorize.Net plugin in Sandbox. The logs show Authorize.Net is returning specific decline reasons (e.g. AVS mismatch, error code 27), but the checkout page only shows a generic “Something went wrong. Please contact us” message.
Is there a way to display the actual gateway decline message (like “billing address did not match”) to the customer instead of the generic text? If not, can this be added?
