Generating Client Access

    I just finished a site. My client asked me for a login. I am thinking to make an Editor account for her.

    Also, I’d like to set up the dashboard so it is more client-friendly. I plan to add google analytics. This is what shows now: https://www.screencast.com/t/nDaEli2XXNp

    How can I change what shows in the dash for her? What would be more appropriate?

    Is there a reason that you’re not letting them be an administrator of their own site? Perosnally, that’s what I do. It’s their site, and they should be able to do what ever they want to with it (including breaking it badly…). Other’s might, and do, disagree, but that’s how I feel it should work.

    As for waht’s “appropriate”, that’s up to what you and they decide is needed for them. Unfortuantely there’s no one-size-fits-all option there.
