With a lot of research and trying out many of the themes out there I have decided to use Generatepress as I really like the clean layout, options and also the idea of ability to extent using addons which gives me great flexibility.

Use the directory plugin from WPMU and would like to customize Generatepress to go with it. Where i would need the following:

    1. Header to look like on this link.
    2. Home page looks good on the large screens but on small screen it overlaps. Image here.
    3. Would like to make the listing and search results page that looks like this to look like this.

    Hi there,

    1. With the logo to the left of the navigation? Go to “Appearance > Customize > Layout” and choose “Float right” under navigation position.

    2. Not sure what you have going on here – there must be some weird code on that page. Can you link me to the site?

    3. Is this a listing plugin you purchased or are using? I’m afraid you may have to ask the plugin developer about this.

    Let me know 🙂

Thank you very much for your quick response. And you suggestions.

    1. Got this to work.
    2. I have got this corrected by re installing the parent theme.
    3. I am talking about the layout of the content that is being displayed. i.e. the image on the left with the content on the right. And with regards to what content what i need to display will speak to the plugin developer.

    3. Our Blog add-on allows you to do this with regular blog posts super easily in the Customizer: http://generatepress.com/downloads/generate-blog/

However, if you want to do this with the listing plugin, you’ll have to ask the author if a layout like that is achievable within the plugin.

I’m going to go ahead and mark this as resolved.

If you need any more help just let me know 🙂
