General images topic help needed

    I’m using WP 2.9. In several places in the Codex, the topic of images is mentioned, but it still seems rather confusing…

    the Gallery feature allows the option to add an image gallery to a Post or Page on your WordPress blog.

    – What Gallery feature? The only image feature I see is an “img” button in the text formatting window that requests an image URL.

    WordPress makes it easy for you to add images to your WordPress site. You can upload them directly from within WordPress by using the built-in file uploading utility in the post screen. Or you could use any FTP Client software to upload many images to your WordPress site.

    – Where is the “built-in file uploading utility in the post screen”? I don’t have this.
    – To what directory?

    Try looking in Admin/Media. As for the native Gallery feature, have a look at this article.

    Hi Bertieg here,

    I am a new user, downloaded wp from fantastic -all went fine.

    I have images in this file I must have put in accidently. How can I
    start with a clean playing field or should I just start over again?

    Hello there!

    I just downloaded a new template HoPe 2.5.8

    I’m not a web developer at all, so this is all really new to me.

    I’m trying to find out two things

    1) How to update the photos in my new gallery on the homepage. (Right hand side) Right now it’s images of Damascus. Don’t know how they got there.

    2) How do I link the “Follow us on Twitter” to our twitter account?
