GD’s search bar – modifications doable?

    Hello,

    fairly new to the GeoDirectory plugin, I was wondering if I was able on my own to change the SEARCH BAR features?
    ie: I would like to remove the “Search for” bar and keep the “Proche de…” bar

    Hi @roro111,

    there are settings to do that.

    If you are using the GD > Search Block, toggle the Show Advanced Settings option and you will see a few extra checkboxes:

    You want to check this one: Hide Main Search Input

    Ok, I did go to settings > general > search
    I couldn’t find this “Hide Main Search Input” feature
    Could it be because I am still on a free version of GD?

    Hi,

    you are looking in the wrong place.

    This setting is available on the search block on each page where there is the search form.

    Let me know if you still cannot find it.

    Ok, thank you, I found it, although there was a little more actions involved in this procedure the mentionned above.
    Another issue was found: inside post type settings, I typed the label as: “Liste des praticiens:”
    Yet, when opening the url I mentionned above , the title reads:

    “All Liste des praticiens:”

    How could I change this please?
    And is there a whole video explaining the archives, blocks, settings etc for GD? There seems to be so much to handle prior to manage it all!

    I think I found what I was looking for by going thru your previous answers !
    Meanwhile, one last thing rose up:
    I would like to modify the actual template of this /listing-chiros page.
    When trying to do so, I land on this GD-Archive page that does not allow me to review the whole template layout, eg: thru “Elementor canevas” for example…
    So, how can I change the whole layout of this page, in order to make it unique looking compared to all my other pages OR posts?

    OK, nevermind, I found all of my answers by crawling thru the GD plugin.
    Thanks so much for this plugin. It is a very smart and “rather” intuitive one. You WILL get those stars on the rating!
