GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
-
Hi there,
I have two issues with the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in Europe.
1. The first is simple – the new GDPR banner u added is overlapping the screen on small cp like a Samsung S4.
2. The second is more important – how can we add a link to our privacy policy / impressum in the footer of the amp pages? Because without a link to the privacy policy / impressum on the amp pages, the plug-in does not comply with european law!
Cheers
Nancy

Hello @nancy10199
1- can you please send me the screenshot of the issue you are facing in Samsung s4 mobile device? have you checked on another mobile device?
2- You can add a link in footer by using AMP footer menu
Sent to your email.
Another issue appeared – if the pop-up switched on the amp navigation menu is not working anymore on Apple IPhone 5.
Hi,
I checked it on different websites (different hosters, themes, plug-ins) now and on all the same problem – AMP Navigation is not working on IPhone 5 & maybe not at all on Apple?
Hello @nancy10199
Can you please contact me on team@magazine3.com so I can personally debug the issue you are facing and will solve it for you.
Sent u the mail again … 🙂
Hello @nancy10199
Thank you, I will personally look into it there and will solve it for you.
I am surprised that only we seem to have these problems:
On Apple iPhone5 (Safari & Chrome) the GDPR pop-up does not appear
Navigation does not work when GDPR pop-up is enabled
Both design 2 – in design 1 at least the navigation on the iPhone works.I have now tested it on 5 different websites. Same problems everywhere.
I am now afraid that we will have to switch off all AMP pages today.
I could solve the problem by adding
#ampforwpConsent {
display: inline;
}in the custom css.
Cheers
Nancy 🙂
