    Hi,

With the rolling out of GDPR, I want to make sure that my blog is compliant. My current understanding is that I need a double opt-in for email signups. I have a few questions on this: is there a way to add a checkbox to the email subscription widget that I have on my page? Also, how do I access the existing list of signups? I will need to contact them to have them resign up using the double opt-in in order to be compliant.

    Thanks,

    The Panicked Foodie

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi Panicked Foodie for reaching out.

There are a couple of questions – please raise separate threads per issue.

For GDPR regarding our plugin, please see https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/gdpr/

You mention subscription form – I assume you are talking about SpecificFeeds (which is a separate service from the plugins). Please have a look here http://www.specificfeeds.com/blog. If you have questions about that, please post your question here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/feedburner-alternative-and-rss-redirect

To get access to your subscribers: Click on the Green button under question 2 in the plugin and follow the steps (make sure that you have the email-icon selected under question 1). If you are not using an email icon, but use a subscription form, there is also a link to start the claiming process where you defined the layout of the subscription form (last question in the plugin).

Once you claimed your feed, log into your SpecificFeeds account and go to “My Offered Feeds” where you will see your feed. There is a link to the statistics as well as an option to download your subscriber’s emails.
