Hi,
Really Simple SSL does not process any personal identifiable information and therefore isn’t affected by the GDPR laws.

Hello,
@off-topic-ish: maybe following this post https://make.wordpress.org/plugins/2018/05/17/wp-4-9-6-privacy-hooks-and-you/ would be more helpful for the users of the plugin.
Even the new function from https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/privacy/suggesting-text-for-the-site-privacy-policy/ would be more appreciated because it adds some notes in the new privacy policy tool (guide) from WP 4.9.6.
WordPressly yours 🙂

Hi,
thank you for providing these links. Really Simple SSL does not process any personal identifiable information and therefore the GDPR does not affect Really Simple SSL. Adding a statement that Really Simple SSL does not process any personal identifiable information via the wp_add_privacy_policy_content seems unnecessary since it doesn’t add anything useful to privacy statements but it is definitely something we will consider. Users can find our privacy statement here: https://really-simple-ssl.com/privacy-statement/

After reviewing those functions, we have decided to add a short statement to the suggested privacy policy output in WordPress, stating that no personal identifiable information is being processed.
This will be released in the next update.
